Dear Margie

Im very very sorry that I havent written you sooner but you known the Army eat sleep and work Since I have been transferred down here to camp Maxey I have been pretty busy as I am working in the office now and I have quite a bit of work to keep busy Dont think that I have forgotten you though as I have thought of you often even though I couldnt get at writing

I got a letter from my brother the other day and he told me you had written home and ask about me and he is wondered why I hadnt written to you

I sure had a wonderful time this past week as my girl friend from Dayton was down here and it was the first time that I had a good time since I have come in the army She left yesterday so I guess I go back to the old army routine again but I dont care now

From now on I will try and write more frequently than I have in the past By the way how about sending me a picture of yourself if it isnt to much trouble as I would really appreciate it It would be something to remember you by in the case I would ever go across and that wont be long Well I have quite a lot of work to do so I guess I had better stop for now but I will try and write more later

Lots of Love
Your cousin

PS I wonder if that is the right address I lost it so I just had to take a good guess
