Received your letter Sunday & was swell to hear from you. Sound as though you're still on the basll. you want to watch out for those F.Q wolves though! Especially at Ft. Thomeas. They'll get in your hair!
I'm doing a bit of "goldbricking" this afternoon. The C.O. went out on the firing range so we 're all alone. The 1st Sgt is on furlough, so I'm sort of taking his place while he's gone. I'm the only guy who knows how to make out the reports and stuff. Most of them are made up in the morning, so the afternoon is fairly free. Guess I should dash up to headquarters & see if anything is cooking, but what's the use in asking for trouble. It comes without cooking
