Dear Sister Marge,

Since today is Sunday and we have the day to ourselves I decided your most welcomed letter. It's real hot today after the terrible rain storm yesterday. The rain really came and it wasn't safe to go outside. I'm sorry to hear that you are lonesome at Gibson's. You'll just have to take it up with Uncle Sam. He's in charge of my life anymore. I can well imagine what you wear when you say the ones that came around now makes one think that the Air Corp copped the Cradle. I sure feel sorry for Red and the boys who are being sent back. They didn't have a chance. We are not set yet

Ha Ha. you civilians sure are lucky to make Martha Raye and all those bid hands. Boy did we hate to learn such chances. Oh well the sooner we get sarted the quicker the war will be over and thus we can go for good. That's my biggest hope. you say you didn't understand what Aids meant when he said he was all washed up. Well you are thus pragous like MSTO us being cut down and all the fellows are living " " then old baranch of service. That means if in caught up with I'll be going back to the INfantry. So you see " " plenty of playing in my space " " Well I have plenty of mail to answer or if you pardon me I'll close. So long for now,

our hearthy,
Mav
