Dear Marge
Well I received your letter dated the rd of August about two weeks ago but due to the fact that we are moving pretty constantly I havent had a chance to write any sooner I guess you can see from my heading that I have really did some traveling since I wrote my last letter to you I have really seen some beautiful country & also was in Paris In fact we were the first American soldiers to enter the city & what a rousing reception we got Ill never forget it as long as I live We drank more champagne brandy wine & every thing else than you could imagine The people had been saving it for that occasion & it was really old stuff And the women they have there

those women are really a sight for sore eyes &hey will compare to the girls in the States any day of the week I really met some lovely ones & picked up quite a bit of the French language from them I dont believe you knew it but I have relatives in Paris & also got to see them a few times Ask your Mum &ad about them I believe they know of them although they are on my fathers side

So that fortune teller said that the war would be over by the first of the year well Marge I never did believe in them but we will try & make it come true This is about all for now as I want to write Mom letter yet WRITE SOON

Your Cousin
