Dear Marge
Hope youll forgive me for forgetting your address "you see remembered all of it kept the" and better than take a chance I sent it this way Id rather be safe beautiful houses and fast women "Are you still working hard I sure wish I was hanging around that old town again Like I told Betty its just a year ago yesterday that I wacked "Civey Smice" then I did plenty of traveling and plenty has happened Oh to get back to the "Cayo" Thats a hopeless thought though so I guess Im forced to put up with the infantry Besides theres always the feeling "It cant last forever" I hope I understand youre been having some pretty cold weather lately So have we and Im afraid its staying Old man winter struck his head around the camp and I guess he likes our side better I wish hed got disgusted and go home and let me go home Whats new around town besides the "au" I guess all the cadets have left by now havent they " " Well I better close for now and write later
