Dear Marge
I seem to be doing an awful lot of writing today. I'm trying to get all my letters out of the way so as not to have it accumulate. I just wrote to Bets. Things don't happen around here. It's hard to write but I have to because I've received your letters. I hope you had a good time on your vacation. I guess Bets started hers by now. From the way you write the loafing you did was enough to enjoy a vacation. I can well imagine how

jammed Fountain Square was where the good news was released. I saw that place on a New Years Eve and what a crowd. Good thing the stores were boarded up. I've had a pretty busy day today started off with Church. After I came back I started to press my uniform but ended up pressing about five or six uniforms. The fellows said they liked the way I did it. Oh well, what could I do. We had another movie this

week. It was "What A Woman" with Rosalind Russel. It was an old picture that I saw in Army. Just the same it was good for a laugh So was USO show. That was fill of laughs. And dam good too.
