Dear Susie

Received your letter and always glad to get soem news from home. I just think that Emma's boy Jack is a wonderful good man. he takes so much good interest in his work and I knew it all came from his heart it gives him so much happiness and comfort to go on and labor this good work for the Lord.

I feel his health has been prolonged and he has been made a wonderful preacher which he deserves much credit for the way he had to begin and never get tired trying to save some soul that has fallen as never knew Christ. The last time I say him at your house I thought he did not look so well. There must have been a great change in him and I hope some day he will become one of the " " in their good work and I knew how you feel for this Boy Jack

Speaking of Lillie working and her boys in the Army, what about John Mossman. I never heard anyone mention him. Did they give up that country home. I think Lizzie wrote me about John not getting along with the boys, have they seperated? Well then so much going on in the world, you just can't keep up with it. How is John getting along and his boy Clifford.

I wish I was half as good as Gordan he is best boy for the kind of Daddy. He has changed me he don't like to see girls smoking I never had any cause to every spank him since he was born. He don't like to see me go to a ball game on Sunday or a boxing bout. He don't care about that sort of sport. He will be 12 11th of any and looks like 14 his birthday bad mine the same month mime any 22nd 59 always and no older

Regards to Bob, I am sorry in the way that it has no been settled as for getting anything it has not month the time I did not file suit until the last day thinking Grace would file a claim for the years that she put up with that coming home every evening, her young life for year to have to see all of this. Mr Bodsinger mind and sand. I had one more day and not getting anymore from anyone. I told him to go ahead with the suit. That will was changed about the time he left our place about the time he got back the I think he changed after Ollie died.

We had him out here for several years and made everything as pleasant and comfortable under the conditions he was in most of the time it never cost him a dime although after he spent everyday out here with the better increase. He was surprising so I thought the best thing he said when he was going back as I don't conditions like that in my house for I've gotten away from all of that stuff

"Matter" wrote me a strong letter but I know how to take that wanting to know what business to stop her getting taht money. If there is anyone to get a dollar. They can't bump her out of her share. She said he had a night to give to anyone. I say under his condition he was not in the shape to make a will with a master mind thinking it will go unnoticed. I wish myself it can be settled without a trial.

It can by a compromise. The one mentioned in the will have the power they must all get together not one or two but all agree and take it to either one of the attorneys and agree on a compromise. Bod lawyer don't care, the lawyers the more he gets out of it, so if they are all willing to make to take it to count it might seem several more years most all will suits are settled out see. Mr Bobsinger and get his crew on it they have night. They seem hundred lost as a case like this

Did you know: The word "inst" was a very commonly used abbreviation for the Latin "instante mense" meaning this month.

This has been a long space of warm and cold this winter we feel although it not cold enough to stop the gardens or roses from blooming we feel mighty good in the evening with an overcoat but many never own a coat but just shiver now, were we live their is no frost. We have to floor past gas furnaces going part of the day andn evening that keeps the chill out. There is lots of people with colds out here. Glady and Gordan warms one for several more dry weather. I have improved do you hear from that lovely Armstrong. Hoping this finds you and Frank in good health. Give my love and good wishes to all.
