Dear Nelli,
Well we are in, and what do you think, a whole hour early. We are having a damn good thunder shower. It is raining like the devil but everyone is swetting. We had a night problem and it was quite interesting, cooler and a lot better than it has been in the hotsun. Tomorrow night or Sunday I am going to read all your letters and answer the question, then throw them away. I will also ask

parts. We have to take our rifles down at least twice a day and wipe out sand. We don't get a chance to fire them for at least 3 more weeks. I received your letter today says that you sent the padlock and smokes, I sure can use them, 6 packages a week will be kind of hard for me to get by with. All my love to you & Jackie
