Dear Darling Donna,
Well honey, here it is Wednesday already and I haven't received any letters from you as of yet but hope to soon. This sure one (hell/heck) of a camp, it's been raining here since Monday day and night and if you know how the infantry operates you'll know what I'm going through.
They keep us boys out in the raining all day long. I put from two to three pairs of stockings and pants every day so we don't have much time off after we do our washing and so forth. Our company commander said after this six weeks
