Dear Darling,

Received your pictures and your letter two days ago and just couldn't find time to write anybody even my mother. I haven't been with the company for over a month now, been feasting at a Hungarian Lodge and now on a wood cutting detail high in the mountains.

mts it does nothing but rain day after day also snow, the mtn. tops are just covered with snow. Yesterday they brought our winter overcoat so they must think it becoming cold soon. Your pictures seem are good all the boys think there just good also your a good looking girl, I look at them any time I have off. The paper says the 26th Div will be home by Dec 31 but that don't mean me, all men with 60 points our more will leave with the Div and all below will be transfered to another to occupy
