Hi Sugar,

Well I got a letter from you about an hour ago. So decided to answer right away as I do not have anything to of till tomorrow morning at 10 AM what a life he and just think I am getting $50.00 a month to no kidding yesterday I had a cross country run which is 1.25 mile had to run all tho what that was in the morning then in the afternoon had it again then a nice bug shot in the arm so guess I don't have it too easy after all but I did not drop out like some of the guys did.

Well you asked for a picture will I am going to try and get some but I cant get any good ones in Bilozi or Sulffort I some mail but they are all gone, but don't forget I want on of you also. Were you said it looked like rain there well we had a little rain this morning at 5AM right agtet chow I just made it look to the Barracks in Rogertime. Donna you said you got the pitch now you want wings wee when I get close with Bassie I get a pair but I must peg the you Emer I will send you a Y-9-B. which means ready for combat it is red Blue and gold and looks like the British Empire Emblem. With the Lion on it.

we sure had lousy chow today Roast Beef which was all fat mashed spuds full of lumps green beans all burned. The only thing that was good was the coffee and lemon fellow if I wasn't so lazy I would go over to the service bulb but it is 8 blocks away. You wanted to know if I have fun with these little southern gals were I would do the only thing is they awals want to get married. I suppose some on of these days I might but it will be a Chicago girl as I do not want one of their little southern bells. they might be better cooks than you and the gals up there but not me. Well every body is just lazing around cussing and witting and as usual the bones are really faster all the time and the coords are hearing cut very heavy. I will write a few more letters then join in the fun but I mail a date in town tonight so I have to got in want he spo crowded than as it is cloudy most of the guys will stay in camp. I understood next week Harry James in Coming to camp for U.S.o shn caught to be pretty good wish you would think it over and come down here I am getting tired of washing my own socks and stuff and sewing well why don't you come and give me a hand. Glad to hear that you are a veteran now at the telephone Co. You ought to be pretty good at it by now. So you are going with a Swabey her were suppose it is all right but we don't go much for them down here gives that us why they don't come around. just an account is some little something just because there gals get married down her from 10yrs up, after all you are only 18 and that is still a little punk to me. (but what a punk) OH BOY!
