Dear Donna,
Well its Tuesday morning and still doing nothing guess i will take a sum but this afternoon when I get to camp.
I made some french toast this mornign for Jim and me it wasn;t too bad, had a few classes of beer with it that is always the best part of the meal. Well it sure is hot in this morning that means it is going to be hot this afternoon I have the fun on but it isn't dairy much good.
Well suppose wehn you get this letter you will jis be getting up and still getting the sleep out of your eyes. Since I have been in town I still get up early as ever the thing I like about it is that I don't have to make my bed or wash my clothes.

I sure am taking it easy. I am setting right near the window and watching the people and all it looks like ther was aweek up a block us the meat wagon and squard car went by a few minutes ago and a truck loag of Y.J/ from Lowry went by there way to Buckly field for a work detail andhere I am with the radio going Jonny long and his lord are playing Im awalys chasing Rainbow wish you were here I would chase you.
Donna have you been to River view yet this summer or gone to a lake cruse. sure hope I can get home in a few more weeks just so I am home during the summer but I can't find out what they are going to do with so other than we are O.R.D that covers a lot of Iretory.

I think he is still a little wozzy from last night I don't think the beer this morning did it.
We were off to a good start last night, as we went Roller skating from 7:30 to 11:00 and neither of us fell down then we went over to the dance hall and had 4 dances a piece< and were on our way home.
Well I met lary so we had a couple and a couple lead to a couple more and that is the way it is, we get in about 4:30 which went bad and I woke up at 7:00 once I got up and cant go back to sleep, I could if I was in camp but here in town. Well its just like home.
I got your letter and all glad you are taking it easy. What is Verne going around with nick for is Kenny Lansberry to or don't you know Kenny. Well anyway. Well say hello to Mary for me and the folks and yime cottin a leg bone for me
