We were all surprised to learn that you had taken a trip and mighty glad you are safe and sound How is the climate Did you cross the equator I write to a boy friend of Jack that is down there Your Mother and Dad is well Write them a letter as soon as you can

Boy start schools and likes it very much We had a thunder and lightening storm last night and today is warm as spring I don know who is going to clean all the wallpaper around here since you are gone People around here are calling you up every day Did you know a taxidriver named Roy Brake He died last week

I do not like this Vmail paper because the ink soaks in it I hope you can read it Tony and Jack send their best wishes La Vina has to wear glasses now Be a good boy now and take care of yourself I will write again before too long
