NANCY AND BOY RECEIVED YOUR CARDS AND WERE THEY PLEASED THEY SURELY GET A TRILL FROM HEARING FROM YOU MOM SAYS SHE HASN HEARD FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AND SHE WATCHED THE MAIL BOX CLOSELY THE WEATHER HERE HAS TURNED QUITE CHILLY AND WE ARE EXPECTING FROST TONIGHT IS IT COLD OVER THERE WE MADE A HURRIED TRIP TO CAMDEN TO CLEAN OUT DRAWERS ETC AS MOTHER LAMM HAS BEEN ILL AND HAS MOVED IN WITH HERE DAUGHTER HELEN NEAR DAYTON WILL AUCTION OFF HER FURNITURE ON THE TH OF OCTOBER AND HER HOUSE HAS BEEN SOLD WE BOUGHT IT AND ALREADY HAVE A RENTER AS CAMDEN IS NEAR DAYTON CINCINNATI AND HAMILTON AND HOUSES ARE AS SCARCE AS HEN TEETH RIGHT NOW ESPECIALLY IN THE SECTIONS WHERE THERE HAS BEEN AN INFLUX OF PEOPLE

RUSSEL FELT HE COULDNT SEE THE OLD HOMESTEAD FALL INTO STRANGE HANDS AFTER BEING IN THE FAMILY FOR YEARS IT WILL GIVE HERE A CONTACT WITH CAMDEN THAT HE WOULDNT HAVE OTHERWISE ALL OF US ARE ABOUT READY TO SEND YOU AN XMAS BOX SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR IT WISH WE KNEW WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE BUT WE WILL JUST HAVE TO USE OUR JUDGMENT
