Dear Sister,
Just a few lines to tell you that I am still OK, I hope you are all the same. Well I hear you are having a lot of rain and some awful height water, Please send me some pictures of the high water at Wedge. It looks like a river, I guess Dad corn crop is all gone down at Jacob, if they had it planted already, which I don' know I hear the levy broke at Jacob. That sounds bad.
Me and Pulle walked 20 miles the other day for just a few bottle of beer, I only had one bother of beer, I only had one bottle of beer in last 5 weeks, so I was pretty well dried up, and we paid a quarter for a small bottle, Pretty expensive beer.
