Dear Judy:-

How is my best girl today? Anything wrong darling, except for the monthly letter its been a coons age since I've heard from you and gosh honey I do miss your letters. Maybe I'll hear from you tomorrow. I hope so anyway. Well today is Sunday and I've just finished my dinner. I should say Supper. Just to give you a rough idea of want a meal consists of here. This was approximately the menu for lunch, Chicken, potatoes, dressing peas and carrots, beans, bread and butter, jam and coffee and pineapple pie, for Supper we had hamburger, potatoes, peas and carrots, Spinach, beans, coco, bread, butter, jam and fruit cocktail. So you can see we are not exactly starving.

Of course this being Sunday I didn't get up for breakfast, but instead got up just in time to go to church. Lets see darling I never did tell you about my work here in London, if you call it work. Anyway we wake at 6 o'clock and roll call is at 6:30 between 6:30 to 7:30 is our breakfast, restart work at 8 o'clock and right now it is picking up papers and wash for salvage from different billets in London, and hard work and you ride in an open truck all day. Between 11 to 1:30 is lunchtime and our afternoon starts at 1 o'clock. As you can see we have a 2 hour intermission. At 4 o'clock is Supper time and we normally have the evenings to our-self although not always. Our pass is good until 12 o'clock at night when they have bed checks.

Well darling I'll have to close for now. Take care of yourself and I'll be seeing you.

Love and Kisses, George
