My Darling Pops,
This is a reminder that I love you darling pops. It's so terrible just to think of not seeing you, sweet, so you can't imagine how it is when I really don't see you. I live in a dream, darling, with my memories of you; there [sic] wonderful, darling. I wouldn't give them up for all of the best things there are in life. I hope you cherrish [sic] them as much as I do, darling (again) Gee pops, I hope you don't get tired of reading that word, but its just the word that I have to use, because you're so wonderfully sweet and I love you infinitely. Oh! my dear, I hope and pray every nite that you can get off this night shift. Please try to darling; you'll have too [sic]. It's so lonesome for me sitting home on these long nights, when we used to be together. You realize all this, don't you darling so please try. Perhaps I don't know what I'm talking about, or having a spell or something; maybe I'm just crazy. I guess its for our benifite [sic], oh, I'm sorry darling, please forgive me. I'm so stupid its a wonder I'm living. Another thing that just goes to show, is that I forgot to give you a banana and some candy, I'm sorry darling. I could kick myself when I think of it. My poor pops didn't have a thing to eat until 8 o'clock. Darling, you must promise that you'll ask for the bag at noon time, please. And so my precious darling until we can meet in the Cafe to hold hands + look at each other, I'll have to be contented.
