Dearest Darling,

We just arrived at Janie's at 12:30 P.M. Grandma is better than she had been. I missed you terribly, popsie, I'm all excited now so you'll understand. To-morrow's letter will be better. I must get this in the mail by 2 and its 1 now. She was so glad to see us she cried. She loves my picture too. She doesn't have any pain, she's only weak. On New Years day they had to keep rubbing her to keep her alive.
