Dear Mother and Dad:-

Well today is Sunday and nothing to do. It is now 10 a.m. and it certainly is a fine spring morning. I imagine the place is very pretty in the summer time, and the weather gets pretty warm but not hot. Just came in from playing catch and so thought I would pass away a few moments by writing. Shame but I haven't very much to tell. Did you receive my letter saying to send me my union suit and some socks, also send me a couple of turkish

towels, for bathing purposes. I have one but it only lasts for one day and the rest of the towels I have a small face towels. I suppose you are all finished with the wall paper question by now. You can phone Hazel and tell her that I received her present of candy O.K and thanks very much, it sure went fine. I suppose the weather is fine and dandy at home by now. I looked at the thermometer last night and its 50 degrees about up here but every morning the breeze is quite chilly. but it sure takes the sleepy feeling out of a fellow.
