Dear Mother and Dad
Received your letter yesterday Was tickled to death to receive it Was the first letter I received from home for about a week the way it seemed to me Hazel hasnt written to me for quite a spell I just wrote her a letter wanting to know what the trouble is Hope that noone is sick We are having warm weather and the wool uniform certainly is hot And they dont allow a fellow to go around with a coat or blouse off How is everyone around home Say hello to all for me Suppose the sister thinks

am a dandy but have few very busy of late and hardly have a few moments for ourselves How is Dad and the office coming along Could of had an office job in our company but would of rather been a private than an office clerk They never have any time for themselves and their work never ends They keep us busy enough but alone with company troubles

Was out taking pictures on Sunday morning Will get some tomorrow if good heres hoping these are will send some home Have Dad send me some shampoo and money I am absolutely broke Will have to borrow some stamps to send Haz and this letter home So will rely on you for once

How is Aunt Kate and Mel and Uncle Leo Tell them I am ashamed for not writing But Mother you can phone them and tell them that I am always inquiring about them and send them my love Wish Merlin would come up here They are having a big bunch of fellows come in here this week Hope there are some Dubuque

Well Mother didnt have much to say but just want you to know that my thoughts are with you and Dad always and Im always glad to write home and hear from home So please write as often as possible Remaining
