Dear Mother

Received two letters and papers Was pleased as always to hear from you Also received a nice long letter from Hazel day before yesterday Well we certainly are getting a good work out now

Everyday we go on a hike for about miles We have to carry our rifles and a pack weighing about lbs and take it from me when a fellow walks for some time and earned back the while outfit weighs about lbs But it will all become easier everyday Glad to hear that Ollie is up and around Tell Uncle Graham that is the only thing we dont
