My Dear Mummy

My knee is ever such a lot better now because Mr Canner has been bathing it and bandaging it up We had a cricket match on Saturday It was Phillips birthday on Saturday He had a nice big birthday cake It was a horrible wet day on Saturday wasnt it Please do you mind not putting PM and things like that because I cannot read them I wish I could have been with you in the hunt even if that big swan had have been there with his wife and family

How was it that you came to have some bread with you to throw to the swan and his wife and family Thank you so much for sending my ribbon on Fancy motoring over five hundred miles when you went to the Lake
