When I get settled I think that I will stay here a few days any how I left all well and hearty at Saint Louis I was at the theater twice and circus once and museum once they are setting the table now I hear the dishes a rattling I have one Dollar left for to get me a ---- ---- and some envelopes and writing paper I --- a few stamps I would like to stay a while longer with you if it had of been possible --- --- hear anything in the papers. Now I saw ---- (Mary?)down at St.Louis. She has not been there only ---- years. She is a nice Lady. I did not get to ---- (uncle Archy) he was down the (river) and we ----- (river?). I feel better since I had my dinner. I (ate) my dinner this day week a go. Don't forget --- --- ----. I want you to give my best ---- --- --- all inquiring friends. So no (more) --- (present).
