I received your letter and was glad to hear from you

We have been having lots of fun with the measles We are all about over it There was six of us down at once over it Three up to and was down with them at his grandma McCormicks We all was down it same time How would you like to had been here

Mama Myrta and I all got up here on Tuesday for the first time I never went to bed until Friday evening

I went to town horse back Monday and came back Tuesday I didnt feel very well when I was in Epehrata Next day I lay around all day until evening I had to go after the cows Next day I couldnt do any thing but managed to stay up enough to wait on my self until Friday then I had to give up
Mommas eyes are sore She cant hardly see anything
You had ought to see my rose bush it is just lovely
I took Bertha and Mable a ride in the cart with Dick and you ought to have seen us go Dick is so lively that he will shy at everything and he took us

around a corner so fast Bertha nearly lost her hat He acks so mean Myrta wont ride behind him when I hitched alone but I think he is dandy Come out and we will go for a ride We have two little black colts We only have four horses that are old enough to work We have a yearling colt and a buckskin cayuse that came to our place when it was only about a week old We have had him ever since Well I guess I will have to sign off Waiting to hear from you soon
