THIS LOT IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING ADDED. LETTERS START IN 1858 and end before 1900. They are from a Gibson & Strathern solicitors office located in Charlotte Street, Edinburgh.
Approx 400 letters in total. Many are from local British aristocrats and contain desputes over wills, land, loans, purchases of bonds and questions on business formations. Many letters involve the business dealings of Arthur James Balfour prior to him becoming the British prime minister.
